Build for linux

(GAME 3) ngl the mirror mechanic needs a little work....felt like i couldnt really use it for anything besides  lookin at the creature warp to me

Very cool idea to use the mirror to spot the monster, would love a full story game based off of it, Thank you for making this! 2nd Game.

Interesting mechanics which got me more than they should :D

Нереально душный монстр, от которого можно часами прятаться под столом

it's fun

A fun little horror game where you escape a monster as it stalks a harbour. The visuals are great and the monster itself is nice and creepy. Above all, the use of the hand mirror is a great mechanic that helps this game stand out from the crowd. If you want a challenge, give this one a try.

Dude, imagine if it has VR compatibility, that'll give you better control of the mirror.

Incredible! 👨🧔

The mirror is very awkward to use

The monster in this game is absolutely fantastic from the look to the concept!

I may or may not have screamed whilst simultaneously crapping my pants.

Thanks for the great horror experience, it was the perfect game to play coming back into the fray of content creation mixed with GREAT indie horror games.

Hi,

I really enjoyed the videos, the game is great.

What is the roadmap, a release on Steam, and especially a Linux version is planned?

Thanks :-)

Hey DEVS I just played your game and had a little Review on it if you'd like to check it out! In short the problem I had was the Monster being stuck and camping me and the door being a little clunky. Overall this was an enjoyable experience! Here is my take on it:

This was a great game.

The mirror element to me was perfect, I kept hiding and plotting (which was the intention behind it I'm sure lol) trying to figure out how to get pass this creature. I did notice a few times the creature would get stuck by the boat and I had no choice but to get killed so the creature could spawn somewhere else.

I would like to suggest adding a story with the creature that maybe you have to uncover in the full game. Like maybe someone summed it to cover up a mystery in the harbor or maybe a tainted spirit or tortured soul trapped here due to something terrible or a twist of some sort. Another suggestion maybe adding an element to the game involving the mirror such as having to travel in the mirror world to solve a puzzle to get past a certain point in the real world. Maybe making it a timed thing because the portal is open maybe other creatures can escape... Just a suggestion but either way I am a huge supporter of this project and I a sure it will great in the end! Keep up the great work.

This was actually a great game.

It remembered me a bit of Monstrum: There is an Enemy and you have to escape, in this case, via a boat and you are not allowed to be seen, so hide whenever needed.

The mechanic of the mirror was unique but truly challenging due to it's a mirror. 'Who thougt that'

I would say 8/10, the length was exactly what's needed and like I said, it's unique.

Play it, you won't regret it, i promise!

Great concept for a game, only being able to see the monster through the mirror really adds to the tension, especially when I would lose sight of it and only be able to hear it. Only problem I found was keeping track of the monster with the mirror when I was in grass, it made the only option I had was to run and hope the monster was still not about.

Great game would love to see more.

This is one of those games that makes me kind of sad, because it has such potential but it's just not for me.

The mirror mechanic sounds great on paper, but in practice, it basically meant "play the game on a smaller screen with backwards controls". Plus the monster makes so much noise that using the mirror is redundant. I got too frustrated too early to really want to see much more of this.

Great premise, but just not my kind of experience.

This was so good, it made me focus for so much of the game! Really like the design of the monster and how it moves! A little frustrating trying to spot it from the bushes though!

One of the most original ideas I've seen in a horror game! Scary and Tense stuff, guys! Great job!

AMAZING IDEA LIKED IT

nice game!

The mirror mechanic is so well done! I think we have a hit on our hands :) Love the work

Full Play No Commentary

This Game Was SO MUCH FUN! I loved The Mirror   Mechanic  It Added a Different element to The Game That I'd Never felt before.  Im Excited for more games !

Gave it a Let's Play and my feedback/criticisms (at the end), the environment and aesthetic building of the world is good, my only complaints is the 'AI Cheapness' even while understanding why the AI is the way it is, the game could, in my eyes, hold more value if it were utilized/expanded upon.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! AI is indeed something difficult to figure out and there's a lot of room for improvement. I think what you're looking for is not an ai that's "organic" but rather one that fools you into thinking it's smarter than it actually is. The best example I know is the AI from Alien Isolation, it also "cheats" but it's completely not scripted. You can check out the yt video about it on the channel "AI in Games". We had an issue where if the enemy would be completely unaware of where you are, you would just encounter it once and then leave behind. I agree making it cheat is not the best solution, but it's what we could do in a short timeframe we had :)

Alien Isolation, definitely a good example. Yeah, making it so its harder to predict behavior, scripted or not, is always there too.

Ps : Teneis pensado llevarlo a Steam? Sería genial!! Si poneis donaciones también aportaría porque desde luego, se lo merece!!

I liked it a lot, and even knowing what the entity you face is like, you still feel the fear and pressure.

I have loved the detail of seeing Lovecraft, and it also reminds me of Insmouth.

I lack the ability to select the gamma to see it a little darker, no translation is necessary because it is already understood although you always like to read it in your language.

I am fascinated by the sound of sea bubbles in the background, and the idea is fabulous; the mechanics are original.

I would like them to create a game based on this idea in the future, I mean a much longer game, because it has a lot of potential.

Very good, team !!!

Ps: Do you plan to bring it to Steam? It would be great!! If you put donations I would also contribute because of course, it deserves it !!

Hi! We're really happy you enjoyed the game. It will be coming on Steam soon as well, it will be also free. We are not planning to expand on this game in the near future, but we are glad about all the positive responses.

the idea is creative, but having a backstory will be even better, keep up the gd work

This was a really creepy game. I like the concept of using the mirror to be able to see the creature. Keep up the great work!

This game looks Great! Keep up the good work team. Maybe could collab on future horror gaming projects.
